After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Kentucky, Amanda attended law school at the University of Kentucky College of Law. During law school, Amanda worked as a law clerk with the firm of Casey, Bailey & Maines PLLC and joined the firm as an associate attorney in 2018. Amanda primarily practices civil litigation.
